MISSION

 

Volunteer USM (VUSM) is a registered student organization that promotes the building and maintaining of relationships with both the Hattiesburg and Southern Miss communities. As a service-oriented organization, we establish positive change in the community by engaging students in volunteer opportunities that develop leadership and teamwork.

WHO WE ARE

VUSM is a student organization at the University of Southern Mississippi that creates and provides service opportunities for students by collaborating with campus and community partners. Membership dues for VUSM are $20. Volunteering with VUSM not only provides students with the opportunity to make a positive impact on our campus and community, but also to gain leadership skills, build relationships with fellow students, and gain experience in their field of interest.

VUSM organizes volunteer opportunities in many areas of service including Animal Welfare, Children & Elderly, Health and Wellness, and Hunger and Homelessness.
